What is the difference between Welded Stainless Steel Sanitary Tube and Seamless Stainless Steel Sanitary Tube?
Now we are paying more attention on the living quality and using more and more stainless steel products in our life. Food grade stainless steel sanitary tube are playing important role in the food industry,pharmaceutical machinery,beer,water,chemical industry,biology industry ,nuclear industry,air purification ,condense, air purification,seawater desalination,hydraulic cylinder
There are two types Stainless Steel Sanitary Tube : Stainless Steel Seamless Sanitary Tube and Stainless Steel Welded Sanitary Tube.
Stainless Steel Seamless Sanitary Tube , it made by cold rolled from mother pipe, after polishing ,inside and outside mirror polished ,smooth and can pass high pressure fluid, bend ,enlarge,flat ,no crack and leakage, high property in anti corrosion.
Stainless Steel Welded Sanitary Tube,it is welded from stainless steel coil or plate, after polishing ,inside also very smooth ,from 2”-6” after mirror polished ,not easy find the welded seam ,but this not equal to seamless , because if you bend ,flat, enlarge it or use in low temperature ,high pressure area maybe crack or leakage,and in anti corrosion not so good as seamless tube .
But for cost , welded sanitary tube is lower much than seamless tube. So we should be careful and as per the project design to choose the right type.
In conclusion ,if the projects are very strict with the stainless steel tube in temperature and pressure , we should choose stainless steel Seamless sanitary tube as first consideration , in other words , we choose Stainless Steel Welded Sanitary tube .
